Climbing Kites is a cannabis infused, naturally-flavored beverage company. We are alcohol free, gluten-free and vegan. And our original sparkling waters contain zero sugar and zero calories (if that's your thing). All our beverages are infused with 100% naturally occurring Delta-9 THC and CBD derived from hemp.

All of the THC in Climbing Kites is derived from hemp, a legal product under both federal and state law. Hemp is one name for the cannabis plant (the other being marijuana). Marijuana and hemp are the exact same plant, the only difference between the two is the initial THC content. Hemp is cannabis that contains 0.3% THC or less by dry weight, and marijuana is cannabis that contains more than 0.3% THC. The THC in CK’s beverages is 100% naturally occurring Delta-9 THC, it has not been converted from CBD or synthesized in a lab. Delta-9 THC is the primary psychoactive compound found in marijuana (it is the one that gets you “high”).

Simply put, THC is extracted from a hemp plant, distilled into a strong concentrate, emulsified to be water soluble, and then infused into our beverages.

Yes, it can. The Delta-9 THC found in each can is the same compound that provides marijuana's psychoactive effects. We designed each recipe with a relatively low dose of THC and 1:1 THC to CBD ratio to promote a balanced and easygoing experience. Please use the same caution you would when drinking alcohol, and do not drink Climbing Kites if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant.

THC and CBD affect everyone differently. But, in general, Climbing Kites is a relatively quick-onset beverage. The effects of CK gradually build and take about 20-30 minutes for the full effect to kick in. Inexperienced drinkers may wish to slowly consume the beverages and wait to feel the full affects before consuming another.

The effects usually last 1.5-2.5 hours, but can last longer depending on the individual.

Our products are tested by an accredited and independent lab to guarantee dosage and quality. We can guarantee the dosage of THC/CBD within our products and also that they are free of pesticides, herbicides, microbes, and other harmful materials. If you’d like more information, our lab results will always be publicly available via our batches page.
